Why Sleepy Bear?

As a family of six, our kids have always been involved in our family businesses over the years. When the idea for a coffee shop/restaurant came around, we began thinking of unique names that were meaningful to us. Our oldest son has been nicknamed “The Bear” ever since he was little, and, if you've ever tried to wake him in the mornings, you know what a chore it is! We've always joked that he's like a hibernating bear who doesn't want to wake up. 

Thus, Sleepy Bear was created. 

With an emphasis on good breakfast and good coffee,
